The new B-JAC or Basic Javlin Adaptive Carrier is our newest and most modern plate carrier yet and is an upgraded version of the previously offered Minimalist Carrier.  At only 1.3 lbs this ultra light and incredibly slick carrier provides rugged durability with modern technology designed to meet the demands of any urban or extended combat scenarios.  Designed and built by a veteran from the 75th Ranger Regiment with combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, this carrier demonstrates experienced based features that maximize comfort, versatility and maneuverability in both low-viz and high intensity operations.  The carrier features a unique top-loading design to ensure that plates can never fall out and eliminates vertical play when switching to different size plates. The laser cut molle webbing minimizes weight and clutter offering one of the lightest and most concealable carrier systems on the market.  The new shoulder strap design on the B-JAC allows for substantially more adjustability compared to the Minimalist Carrier without excess material hanging out.  The B-JAC can be set to accommodate bodies from 6'6" & 225lbs all the way to 5'6" & 130lbs... there's like... a lot of adjustment.  The G-Hook front panel is included and features laser cut molle. Additional panels can also be purchased directly thru the manufacturer.  This allows you to keep multiple panels set up in different configurations for quick and easy change over depending on mission requirements.  One of the best features of the Javlin Carriers is the front vs rear plate height differential.  The cummerbund is cut and shaped so as to allow the front plate to ride slightly lower than the back plate (see the pictures) which is the most natural way for any carrier to sit.  Many carriers on the market do not have this feature forcing the back plate to ride too low or the front plate to ride too high.  The B-JAC is also incredibly comfortable and has extra elastic banding so it can be cinched down tighter than other carriers without inhibiting breathing, this helps eliminate the sway of gear during running or changing positions.  After rigorous field testing by the Steel Ops staff the B-JAC has become a new favorite.  Out of the box this carrier will surprise you with its weight and simplicity, but after heavy use it will impress you with its ruggedness.  If you're looking for a carrier that provides strength, capability and simplicity then look no further.
